How wonderful that you have found your way here to get to know us and our cats a little better!

My name is Emelie Krüger, and I am the breeder behind this cattery. I am a SVERAK (FIFe) registered breeder and my cattery name is SE*Cats of Kruger. Together with my husband and our children have we founded Cats of Kruger AB, where our cats are a natural and cherished part of our family and everyday life. For us is breeding Ragdolls not a business we live off, it is a passion we live for.

Many people ask why I invest such an enormous amount of time, energy, and resources into my breeding program. The answer is simple, yet deeply rooted in everything I do. I love the breed far too much to do it in any way other than the very best. To me, a Ragdoll is not just a cat. It is a family member who sleeps in my bed at night, a friend who greets me at the door, and with a temperament so gentle that it deserves to be preserved.

I have chosen to run my breeding as a limited company because it is the right and responsible way to do so. I pay taxes and comply fully with Swedish regulations, even though the breeding is financed through my work outside of the cattery. Taking this responsibility is a matter of course for me, even if far too many breeders choose to ignore it. When you choose a kitten from us, everything is always transparent. You will receive a proper receipt confirming that all taxes and fees have been paid. I want to be able to look the families who choose a kitten from us in the eye and show that I take responsibility – both for society and for the future of the breed.

We are approved by the County Administrative Board in accordance with Section 16 of the Swedish Animal Welfare Act. This approval is your assurance as a buyer that our cats grow up in a safe and enriching environment that meets all legal requirements for professional animal care.

I have chosen to invest significant resources in importing cats from abroad in order to actively broaden the Ragdoll gene pool and keep the level of inbreeding low.

We work with the full spectrum of the Ragdoll's beautiful colours and patterns. Our breeding includes everything from the classic seal and blue shades to chocolate, lilac, red, cream, and tortie, in the patterns bicolour, mitted, and colourpoint – both with and without tabby.

Our cats are traditionally masked Ragdolls with blue eyes, as we have chosen not to work with Cherubim.

All our cats are regularly tested for parasites, are PG-free, DNA-tested for genetic diseases, and have undergone ultrasound examinations of both heart and kidneys.

For me, breeding is about taking genuine responsibility, not only for the next litter but for the long-term health of the breed. When you choose a cat from us, you do not only receive a beautiful companion for life you receive a part of our family, a piece of our heart, and the result of a breeding program where health, temperament, and love always come first.
